Community service has long been Dr. Martyak's passion. She started at a young age volunteering her time to various community organizations. While at Georgetown Medical School, she started a committee to organize medical students to participate in community activities. During that time, she mentored teenage girls at the Boys and Girls Club and also helped to open a shelter for homeless women and children in Washington, DC. She continued to serve her community during her medical training by working at the Venice Family Clinic.

Luminal diseases of the GI tract are Dr. Martyak's area of interest. She takes pride in her good listening skills and warm bedside manner. She is very excited to join the Southern California Medical Gastroenterology Group and practice gastroenterology in Santa Monica. On her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors; hiking, body boarding, snowboarding and spending time with her fiancé.
